Caribee School Bags
There are several conflicting reports on whether the carrying of heavy school bags contributes to back problems, in the future, in school children.
Researchers at the University of Manchester, after a yearlong study, concluded that heavy and overweight school bags were not the major cause of back pain in school children. However, several, other research studies have stated that school bags do contribute, today and will in the future, to the increase in back pain of school children.
Backpacks are considered to be one of the very best designs, if not the best, to help prevent future problems for our children.
Since 1982, in Australia, Caribee have been developing and designing urban and outdoor brand products.
The innovative designs, quality and practicality that Caribee extend to their large rucksacks and travel packs are incorporated into their range of backpacks, which have been created for school, college and university use.
Appealing to parents, with their emphasis on their ergonomic and anatomical construction, as well as, comfort, quality and the ability to cope with however a child may abuse them, a Caribee school bag can incorporate many features that a school child will be watching out for:
- Cool colours
- Pockets designed to hold the all-important mp3 or IPods, including a cord port.
- Bottle pockets created to hold drinks bottle safely
- Large enough to hold A4 files and folders
Whilst schoolchildren, probably, won’t care less that the Caribee school bag range has been made with consideration for their future back health, with padded shoulders, back support and are rigorously tested to provide maximum weight distribution in order to minimise back injury, they will love the tough, hardwearing quality that enables them to be utilised for their intended use, as a school bag, as well as, some things they weren’t i.e. as a goalpost, in the school playground or, occasionally, as a football (they don’t really do that, do they? Yes, afraid so).
Although, there has been no study to date that proves conclusively that a poorly designed school bag does affect present and future back health, Caribee don’t want to take that risk and, Parents, neither should you.
